Mixteco Grill (Wicker Park)

First time at this location (got catering from Lakeview location). The inside is nice. The tacos were good. Learned of a "secret" menu item of esquites. I liked that it wasn't full of mayo, although the spicy topping was too spicy for me.

Awesome Mexican food near me in noble square/wicker park. We love their steak tacos, salsa is on point, and delivery/pick is fast and convenient. If you haven't ordered out from Mixteco when looking for a great Mexican food place in Chicago, I highly recommend doing so ASAP, you won't be disappointed. From their burritos to their guacamole, this is a solid authentic Mexican restaurant addition to the bucktown, Wicker Park, and Noble Square neighborhood. I’m not usually a big food critic, but I have to say, this place is amazing! After eating way too many tacos that were just okay, I was blown away by how good these tacos were. They were so tasty and not too expensive, which is a huge plus. I highly recommend the taco dinner - it was so good that I ended up ordering more tacos just to make sure I didn’t miss out on any of the deliciousness!

The Chimichanga does not disappoint, absolutely wonderful. Very flavorful, and the side condiments are an added bonus. Great environment, very clean.

I always order my tacos, burritos and burrito bowls from here and they always deliver it smoothly, efficiently and fresh! Their chipotle chicken burrito is delicious and the surf and turf bowl always perfect! The sides a and tortilla soup are also very good! I totally recommend this place for its freshness and deliciousness and will continue ordering from here for sure!

The "build your own" bowl was very good! Food was prepared quickly and the self-service kiosk and table-side QR codes were an effective way to submit requests.

I can’t say enough good things about Mixteco Grill! Every dish we tried was absolutely amazing — you can really taste the care and quality in every bite. The homemade horchata was a standout too — so fresh, smooth, and just the right amount of sweetness. Easily one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend!

We are here now 3/12/22 with a large party celebrating our nephews 1st birthday! Great location off the expressway. Our seating area was closed off, private and very intimate. The ambiance is warm and inviting. The music is also perfect. Not too loud or too low. We can have a conversation and hear each other. We love it. I ordered a steak burrito dinner (pictured) and our waiter is Mike! He is great and very attentive to our wants and needs. The steak burrito was cooked to perfection and very filling. Usually I eat the whole thing in seconds but this is a great filling portion. Definitely more than 5 stars!!
